Tahini Caramel Bars
In the search for a homemade Twix bar, I found this recipe. While it is not at all a Twix replacement, I did find it quite useful as a healthy snack bar (in lieu of mass produced granola bars). Pay attention to the use of a double boiler and why you do not want to expose the chocolate directly to heat.
Tahini Caramel Snack Bars

Ingredients:
For the biscuit base
70g oat flour – plain rolled oats blended into a flour in the food processor.
50g ground almonds
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp maple syrup
3.5 tbsp coconut oil, melted
For the caramel date layer
140g dates
3 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp milk of choice

For the chocolate coating
150g dark chocolate, melted
