The end result tastes a lot like regular cookies, with only a slight hint of umami difference. They are irresistible.
Miso Tahini Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1.25 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
10 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup (packed) dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1/3 cup tahini (or smooth almond butter)
1/4 cup miso (any type)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
