Sausage and Cabbage
For those of you who think you don’t know how to cook, why not start with a simple cabbage roast. Throw in sausage and butter and you’re basically done.

A recipe for cold weather

salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 pounds fresh sweet Italian pork sausage or bulk sausage
1 large green or Savoy cabbage, about 4 pounds, cored and thickly shredded
freshly ground black pepper
crusty bread and mustard for serving
Roast at 300 degrees for 2.5 hours. See video for details.
